This clinic is a benefit clinic for, and will be held at, the Begin Again Horse Rescue in Columbus GA. The clinic is limited to 10 riders, clinic fee is $150 for the weekend. Eric and Alexa will be doing demonstrations on how to prepare your trail horse for safe spring riding. Eric will also be giving talks on proper hoofcare. For more information visit www.ruckerhorseandpet.com April 17 CTHA Annual Meeting: Eric and Alexa will be demonstrating the qualities that make Walking Horses, Mustangs, and Quarter Horses quality trail mounts. They will show how basic horsemanship applies to all breeds and disiplines. This clinic is designed to help develop softness and self carriage in your horse so that you can achieve the smoothest ride possible with out the use of quick fix gimmicks, harsh bits, or excessive weighted shoes. We will spend close to 12 hours riding and 4 hours or ground school. Cost $150 includes overnight board for horses. Limited to 6 riders. This clinic is designed to help you realize that ground work done correctly will transfer to mounted work. Over the two days the horses will be exposed to various obstacles and gun fire. We will also work on developing softness in our horses and teach our horses and ourselves how to respond rather than react. We will do 6-8 hours of ground work and 8-10 hours or mounted work "That's almost a months worth of training in one weekend!!!" Cost $150 includes overnight board, limited to 6 riders. For more information visit http://arf.savethehorses.org June 19 10am-5pm "Basic Horsemanship & Beyond" Benefit for, and held at, Save the Horses Newt Green Rd in Cumming GA. This will be an abbreviated version of our 2 day clinic we will spend 2-3 hours on ground work and the remainder of the day mounted. Cost $75 limited to 10 riders, spectators $10 at the gate 100% of the tuition fee will be donated to Save the Horses equine rescue.
